Description
In our Introduction to Handguns class, you’ll learn some of the most important basics of firearm safety, and how to properly hold, grip, sight, and shoot handguns. Whether you are new to firearms, or perhaps you have already purchased a firearm, but just lack experience, this is the class for you!
A $10.00 fee for this class is to help ensure those who sign-up for class also show up for class. With limited seating, we want to avoid turning away interested parties on account of a class appearing to be full based on sign-ups, only to then have “no-shows” who’ve cost others their chance to attend. In exchange for the $10 for those who do attend, in addition to the content and benefits of the class itself, you will receive a FREE 1/2-hour range pass ($12.50 value) and a FREE gun rental ($10.00 value) for use at a future time (within 30-days of the class).
This is a serious subject matter for sure, but we keep it fun while you learn:
- Basic Firearms Safety
- Getting familiar with the parts and operation of handguns
- Holding, gripping, aiming, and trigger press
- Considerations of using a handgun
The second part of the course focuses on live fire in our climate-controlled indoor shooting range.
Here we will shoot .22 LR firearms that are great for beginners. Each participant will get to try!
